Series and Parallel Capacitor Calculator
Calculate the equivalent capacitance of capacitors in series or parallel and their stored energy at a given voltage.
Series and Parallel Capacitor Calculator User manual
- Fill in the parameters or select the file according to the form, and check the unit and format first.
- Two 100 μF capacitors give 50 μF in series or 200 μF in parallel.
- Click the processing button to view the results, you can copy or download and save.
Calculation method and processing rules
For parallel capacitors, add capacitances. For series capacitors, add their reciprocals and invert the sum. Stored energy is E=CV²/2.
scope of use
Accepts up to 100 positive capacitances in a single series or parallel network. Voltage ratings, leakage and safe operating conditions are not calculated.
Will the input content be saved on the server?
This tool handles input in the browser, and does not upload files or form content. Typing practice scores are only saved in the native browser.
Why may the result be different from other tools?
Accepts up to 100 positive capacitances in a single series or parallel network. Voltage ratings, leakage and safe operating conditions are not calculated. Please compare the input unit, rounding method, applicable rules and data version first.
